Hi, I’m Lizzie Horevitz, PhD, LCSW,
I have been in the mental health field for more than 15 years, although you can say it’s been all my life, as my father and twin sister are also therapists … so it runs in the family.
I’ve had the privilege of supporting hundreds of diverse individuals through their toughest challenges and bared witness to them achieving their most inspiring wins.
I've worked as a psychotherapist, clinical leader, and behavioral health executive, most recently serving as Chief Behavioral Health Officer at a large health center, overseeing integrated psychotherapy, psychiatry, case management, and substance use disorder services serving nearly 40,000 primary care patients.
I have served as adjunct clinical faculty at UC Berkeley’s School of Social Welfare, and trained organizations across California on trauma-informed care, vicarious trauma, and burnout. In addition to my private practice, I provide clinical training and supervision to lay counselors and mental health professionals across the United States.
I love the work that I do.
A session with me looks like a warm supportive chat with someone who cares deeply & truly gets you.
I’m here to create a plan tailored to what you need in that moment.
My goal is you feel safe, supported, and ready to dive deep into your healing, so you can come out your most balanced, excited-for-life self.
I’ll equip you with practical tools to handle whatever life throws your way, because we all need a toolkit to help us cope in the face of life’s challenges.
